Our first speaker on Understanding Islam and our Muslim Neighbor is Mohamed Jawad Khaki of the Ithna-asheri Muslim Association of the Northwest (IMAN) in Kirkland, which he helped found and lead.

Jawad was born in Tanzania, studied in England and excelled at Microsoft. He is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and activist. The title of his talk is From a clash of ignorance to a dialogue of civilizations!
